Crane for Mob Boats

«Eide Contracting AS has introduced a new crane for MOB boats and inflatable rafts. The crane comes in several sizes with capacities from 900kg to 3,500kg. The unique thing about the crane is the winch system, which is hydraulically operated, with the power pack and pipe system completely installed in the crane pedestal, so that assembly aboard is easy. The holding brake and control of lowering speed have an ingenious design. The winch has also a built-in hoist compensator. The first of the cranes is being prototype tested and will be delivered with a certificate from DNV and CE marking.
