05.03.2003 – Eide signed a framework aggreement with Fjellstrand on launching of their Newly developed High Speed Car Shuttle Ferry «FERRY CAT 120».
«FERRY CAT 120» has the following capacities:Passengers: 400
Cars: 120
Axial Load: 15 tons
Service Speed: 22 knots
Beam: 20 meters
Length: 80 meters The first of these innovations that will revolutionize the ferry traffic are already launched at sea. It will be delivered to Rogaland Trafikkselskap in Stavanger and will go in Stavanger-Tau route. The launching was arranged by a collaboration between the floating cranes EIDE LIFT 2″ and «UGLEN».
