05.03.2003 – «EIDE BARGE 5» is at work in Denmark with launching/mounting of windmill foundations.
Earlier we introduced «EIDE BARGE 5» rebuilt and modified for 1800 tonnes lift. We can now introduce the crane barge in operation with launching/mounting of the foundations. EMS AS collects the foundations from the site in Polen and transport them on the barge to Rødsand, Denmark.
Approximately 30 of totally 73 foundations are now in-place, and the launching goes continuously. EMS have 4 10 000 tons north-sea barges.
The tugboat Eide Rex and Eide Barge are engaged in this project.
