The Eide Group has a long ship building tradition. From modest beginnings, building wooden fishing boats – to modern yard facilities that have built and delivered many modern vessels, such as fishing boats, cargo ships, tugboats, tankers and offshore vessels in varying sizes and types of steel.

Offshore deliveries have consisted of; anchor- handling tug supply, pipe carriers, diving vessels, support and standby vessels. The yard has also delivered advanced tankers with stainless steel tanks to transport chemicals, cargo ships, tugboats, cablelayers, refrigeration vessels and advanced fishing boats to shipowners in Norway and abroad.

In addition to new building activities, Eide has also specialised in modification of ships for special purposes, such as diving, rescue, supply and syrvey vessels, tankers for transport of special products, as well as specially equipped vessels for contractual work ill the oil industry.
