Eide Contacting, AS’ fabrication/yard facilities are located in Høylandsbygd on Halsnøy in the municipality of Kvinnherad. The company has 100 well-qualified employees and long and all-round experience from many demanding projects carried out onshore and offshore.
The yard facilities consist of:
- 180 running metres of quay with a water depth of 9 metres
- 200 m2 of sheet metal and welding hall with 3xl0 tons cranes, plus a skid system for heavier modules and structures.
- Optical cutting machine, semi and fully automatic welding equipment
- Machine shop
- Measuring, control and installation equipment
Eide Contracting AS carries out work within the following disciplines:
- All kinds of sheet metal and welding work
- Steel structures
- Aluminium structures
- Pipe fabrication
- Repair and overhaul (classing) of engines, winches, pumps, drilling equipment, etc.
- Machining workshop and on-site machining
Eide Contracting AS’ quality assurance system has been based on NS-ISO
